JEWELRY DESIGNER ORIANNE COLLINS DEBUTS NEW FLAGSHIP BOUTIQUE IN MIAMI
WITH A PRIVATE COCKTAIL RECEPTION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FENDI CASA LUXURY LIVING SHOWROOM
On Thursday, December 13, 2012, Swiss born, fine jewelry designer Orianne Collins-Mejjati hosted a private reception to celebrate the grand opening of her first U.S. flagship boutique located in Miami’s Design District. Notables in attendance included Connie & Julio Rumbaut, Nicole Boswell-Horstmeyer & Eric Horstmeyer, Andrea Minucci, Robert Thorne & Perla Machaen, Sildy Cervera, as well as Orianne’s husband Fouad Mejjati. The 650 sq. ft store, in partnership with FENDI Casa Luxury Living Showroom, embodies the essence of luxury and sophistication, showcasing the designer’s exclusive collections of high-end jewelry for men, women and children. The store also carries limited-edition pieces in which Orianne co-designed with luxury brands including Bedat, Richard Mille, Frank Muller, and Ovale.
On display were special edition, one-of-a-kind pieces especially designed for the Little Dreams Foundation – the foundation, co-founded by Orianne and ex-husband Phil Collins founded in 2000, aims to make dreams come true for children between the ages of 4 & 16 who have a special gift or talent in athletics or the arts. 100% of proceeds of each item will benefit the foundation: Reuge music box signed by Phil Collins ($3,500), and the Van Cleef & Arpels charm bracelet featuring charms that reflect the foundation’s various talents in the categories of Music, Sports & Arts ($50,000).
