Fashionable Environmentalism: Green Fashion Show



Attention ecological fashion designers and fashion lovers! A special conference is coming up this week just for you. To be held on April 6 at Lalit International in Mumbai, India, this Green Fashion Show will be the culmination of a special fashion conference. It is an ecological initiative by The School of Fashion Technology & DyStar, ‘Consortium of  Green Fashion."
 

The Green Fashion Show will feature nationally-acclaimed models choreographed by Achla Sachdev, felicitating the ace designers who have made prominent & significant changes to our fashion industry. The Jury: Meher Castelino, Hemant Trevedi, Philippe Werhahn (Germany) and Rahul Mishra, as well as a  few international speakers of high repute are coming from USA, Germany &  Singapore. The Jury and speakers are associated with ecological concerns related to fashion. 

The Consortium of Green Fashion, that brilliant initiative having partners like NIFT, B.D. Somani, M.S. Baroda University, Bannari Amman Institute of Fashion Technology and Ichalkaranji Seneca Institute of Fashion, which are renowned fashion institutes worldwide, will present revolutionary designs at the Green Fashion Show, the show that follows the Fashionable Environmentalism convention attended by the fashion connoisseurs, fashion students and professionals who have made considerable contribution to Green Fashion.  

The Green Fashion Show, held on April 6 at Lalit Intercontinental, Sahar Airport Road,
Andheri (East), Mumbai, India. shall showcase the Genuine Initiative in Green Fashion. The show is purely meant for increasing ecological awareness in Textile & Fashion Industry and it continuously facilitates and promotes ‘Green Fashion’, ‘Fair Fashion’, and ‘Responsible Fashion.’ It aims to reach the grass root level to strengthen that particular stratum of the industry, which ultimately leads to healthy fashion.


The MD of School of Fashion Technology said, “Everything that we do today reflects the way we treat and think about our environment tomorrow.”
